3. Health & Fitness Data (Android & iOS)

The mobile app reads physical activity data from your device's health platform to support its fitness and wellness features. The following data types may be read:

  • Step count – to display your daily steps and track activity progress
  • Walking distance – to show the distance covered during your daily activity
  • Calories burned – to provide a fuller picture of your daily energy expenditure

Android: The app uses Android Health Connect to read this data. You may revoke permissions at any time through your device's Health Connect settings.

iOS: The app uses Apple HealthKit to read this data. You may revoke permissions at any time through Settings > Privacy & Security > Health > Portal Warga.

The following applies to all health and fitness data accessed by the app:

  • Data is read-only — the app never writes to or modifies your health platform data
  • Data is used only within the app and is never shared with third parties, advertisers, or used for profiling
  • Health data is not used for advertising purposes and will not be sold
  • Data is not retained beyond your active session unless explicitly saved as part of your personal activity record

UiTM is committed to ensuring the security of your information. To prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard the information we collect:
